Tata Venture Launched
Tata Motors, the Indian car brand was launched on January 6, 2011 with its all new multi-purpose diesel powertrain, Tata Venture in Rajasthan. The all new MPV is launched with a price tag of Rs 4.05 lakh to Rs 5.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Jaipur).Saxena, Tata Motor's head, Marketing and Sales said that the Indian car company has initially launched the car in Rajasthan and will be later introduced in other states across the country. This unique utility vehicle is based on the compact car but the interior of the car is like a utility vehicle, spacous and comfortable. He also added that the company is now taking special measures while keeping in mind the luxury and various safety measures in the new car. He said that Tata Venture is the safest wagon among the available vans in the domestic car sector, features like the collapsible steering wheel and side impact beams protect occupants when required.Saxena concluded that the new van is a competitively priced car and it is buyer friendly. The company is also expecting success in the Rajasthan car market. The Tata Venture is affixed with power steering wheel and power windows, reverse parking aid along with engine immobiliser, keyless entry and rear wipers as well. The car will also come in five, seven and eight seater options that are divided in three row front facing configuration. The new car will come in five bright color options that buyers could choose from. He said that ''The less than 4 metre long Tata Venture can comfortably accommodate eight passengers in three front facing rows and has ample luggage space. A glasshouse effect with plug-in windows for second row passengers contributes to the distinctive exterior design while the contemporary interiors sport a two-tone beige and black theme.'' The comfort and convenience of both driver and passengers had been adequately addressed with dual HVAC, power windows, power steering, reverse parking aid, keyless entry with engine immobiliser and rear wipers. This makes the comfort and convenience for both driver and passengers addressed. The collapsible steering and side impact beams protect the occupants in an exigency, he said adding that, ''Tata Venture meets crash safety norms applicable in the domestic market.''
