Priyanka Chopra was earlier rumored to play the part of Anya,but that rumor was later dropped after Katrina Kaif was chosen to play the female lead.
The script is penned by director Farah Khan's husband Shirish Kunder. Sanjay Dutt was confirmed to play the role of Sutradhaar (narrator) for the film. Farah stated in an interview that she wanted someone with a voice which people can even recognize in their sleep.

Yet again Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif are paired up again, for the seventh time… This time by B-town's adorable filmmaker Farah Khan! After her successful ‘Om Shanti Om' three years ago, the director is back with her usual promise to entertain us with ‘Tees Maar Khan' that is full of fun, big dance numbers and an action comedy.

While Akshay Khanna features in a prominent role, the film also carries Farah's trademark flavour of bringing stars in special roles. We already know that Salman is doing a song number alongside Akki and Kat; on the other hand Anil Kapoor and Twinkle Khanna will be making appearance in the course of the story.

The Story

Only once in a blue moon is such a great criminal born who is fearless as well as shameless! Now is the blue moon and the great criminal is Tees Maar Khan. He steals, cons and cheats all with such alarming audacity that even shame shies away from him!

He and his gang comprising of Dollar, Soda and Burger have managed to keep the police, world over, on their toes. Then one fine day international antique smugglers, the Johri Brothers, assign Tees Maar Khan the BIGGEST CON JOB OF HIS LIFE! He must rob antiques worth 500 crore rupees from a heavily guarded MOVING TRAIN!

Will Khan and his merry gang, with some unwitting support from his wannabe-actress girlfriend, Anya, and a greedy Bollywood superstar be able to pull off the greatest heist in history?

‘Tees Maar Khan' is bannered under Farah and Shirish Kunder's Three's Company along with Akshay Kumar's Hari Om Productions. The script is written by Shirish Kunder and Ashmith Kunder while the music is done by Vishal-Shekhar.
