Chicago New Toyota Dealer Proud To Sell Manufacturer With Most Overall Consumer Loyalty

It’s official. Toyota is who we thought they were: a winning manufacturer. Not that this is the first time the Japanese automaker has been recognized for its work as an innovator in the automotive industry. Far from it, in fact. Toyota has been collecting awards left and right as a brand overall. We’ve also seen a lot of media and leading auto experts shower accolades on the manufacturer for its cutting-edge, fuel efficient Prius hybrid car – a vehicle that still holds the distinction of “best fuel economy” on the market. Chicago Toyota Prius drivers are already enjoying the benefits of the first true green vehicle on the market.

But Toyota recently hit a bump in the road with the launch of the 2010 Prius, which is still causing massive recalls due to a sticky brake. Fortunately, Toyota has built itself into one of the most reliable and affordable brands on the market, so I’d be surprised if the automaker didn’t find a way to bounce back with a vengeance. Chicago new Toyota dealers will find a way to set themselves apart from the competition, as they have done so often in the past. Still, it makes you wonder how secure any manufacturer is when they are on top of the industry. Chicago Camry and Corolla vehicles are still the most reliable cars on the U.S. market; maybe Toyota could use them as a crutch in the coming months?

Regardless of what happens, the numbers from the past year’s recession are coming in, and it looks like Toyota did well to establish itself as a stalwart brand in a shaky auto industry. Chicago new Toyota dealerships were excited to hear that R.L. Polk and Company have honored Toyota with the Overall Loyalty to Manufacturer award in its 2009 Automotive Loyalty Award series. Toyota also swept up honors for Mid/Full-Size Car with (yep, you guessed it) the Toyota Prius and Mid/Full-Size SUV with the Lexus RX, a high-performing vehicle from Toyota’s upscale sibling. These distinctions will serve to establish Chicago Toyota Prius dealers as the place to go if you want the best in mid- and full-sized cars.

In addition to these great honors, Toyota was named as the winner in a new category this year. Polk added ethnicity-based categories this year, and Toyota earned honors for Asian-American brand loyalty. Truly, the brand has become a winner in hearts all across the continent, but you can see it firsthand whenever you talk to a Chicago Camry owner or a local Prius driver. And these aren’t the only reliable vehicles available from Toyota.

In the face of a struggling economy and an even worse-off automotive industry, the automotive has been quickly migrating towards fuel efficient technology in car engines. For its part, Toyota has played a strong role in the efficiency revolution, which is why they’ve become such a major player in the industry as a whole. It’s a good thing that the manufacturer is moving towards smaller cars and away from the big pickups of its past.
