Car Reliability Ratings 2010 – The 10 Most Reliable Coupes and 2-Door Hatchbacks at Various Age Ranges

By converting Consumer Union's reliability ratings of "Much Better than Average," "Better than Average," "Average," "Worse than Average," and "Much Worse than Average" to grade points 4, 3, 2, 1, and 0, respectively, for each model year of each coupe and 2-door hatchback providing the necessary data, a 2010 Reliability Grade Point Average may be obtained for age ranges 0-to-4 years, 2-to-6 years, 4-to-8 years, and 6-to-10 years. These Reliability GPAs provide a multi-year reliability summary for each 2-door hardtop with sufficient data.

By these Coupe Reliability GPAs, the ten most reliable coupes and 2-door hatchbacks for each of the age ranges may be selected.
