Salt Lake City New cars: Toyota repackages Tacoma
If you've been having pick-up envy, drooling over tough trucks like the Ford Raptor, but not thinking the price fit your budget, the 2011 Toyota Tacoma will make your day! Buyers Salt Lake City new cars will be a astonished at the Tacoma T/X and T/Xpro models.
Built from the T/X concept shown in 2009, the 2011 Tacoma is a truck that can kick some dust. If you're dreaming of off-road weekends, dancing over some dunes and tearing up mountains then visit your Salt Lake City Toyota Tacoma dealer and check out this truck.
Available in both packages, the Tacoma V6 Access Cab or Double Cab Prerunner also have TRD off-road systems. Several other trucks and SUVs have come out with similar systems in the last couple of years, but Toyota Tacoma is very competitive with what is offered for the price. An electronic locking rear differential, BF Goodrich Rugged Trail rubber, Bilstein shocks and 16-inch blacked-out beadlock wheels and black tube side steps are pack of the TX package. When you move up to the T/X Pro trim you also get the TRD cat-black exhaust. Sounds bad, right?
These are affordable trim packaged, too, at $1,699 each, much cheaper than trying to trim out the truck yourself from the catalog. Buyers of Salt Lake City new cars will appreciate the options available for the Access and Double Cab versions. Cruise control, power mirrors, sliding rear window with privacy glass, remote keyless entry and steering wheel audio controls are among the amenities buyers can choose from.
If quality sound is something you can't live without you can choose from audio features like seven speakers and a sub woofer as part of a JBL premium system. The number of available features on the Tacoma allow it to compete with almost any vehicle on the market. Sure, it won't have the amenities or super-smooth ride of a luxury car, but if you wanted a luxury car you wouldn't be shopping for a pick up.
Pricing is another plus with the Tacoma. The regular cab model should start around $16,300 for two-wheel drive and $20,400 for four-wheel drive. The Access Cab version will start about $20,400 two-wheel drive and $25,900 four-wheel drive with a V6. The Double Cab should run about $24,800 with two-wheel drive and $27,000 with four-wheel drive. Definitely competitive!
The 2011 Toyota Tacoma models will be arriving at dealerships any day (late August or early September). And don't be afraid you'll miss something better with the next model year. The 2011 Tacoma is expected to carry through until a next generation model debuts in 2014, so check it out at your Salt Lake City Toyota Tacoma dealer.
