Monte Carlo is an upcoming American romantic comedy film directed by Tom Bezucha. Nicole Kidman, Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan are producing the film for 20th Century Fox and Walden Media, New Regency Productions, Regency Enterprises.[1] It is loosely based on the novel Headhunters by Jules Bass. It began production in Budapest on May 5, 2010.[2]Monte Carlo stars Selena Gomez, Katie Cassidy and Leighton Meester[1] as three friends posing as wealthy socialites in Monaco.[3] The film will be released on July 1, 2011.[4] Allison Iraheta sings the movie's theme song, "Don't Waste the Pretty," which features Orianthi.

Plot
Three young girls (Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester, Katie Cassidy) use their savings for a dream trip to Paris, which turns out to be a big disaster. When they decide to take a break from their lousy tour and sneak into the lobby of a 5-star hotel, one of the girls is mistaken for a spoiled British heiress. Before they get the chance to reveal their true identities, the girls are wrapped up in a whirlwind of paparazzi, couture gowns, storybook romances, and living the glamorous life in Monte Carlo.
