Video Matrix Switch: Creates a web of interconnectivity between sources and displays

Video Matrix Switch allows transmission of multiple video sources to multiple video displays like LCD monitors, projectors, TVs and so on. These units are available in small sizes such as 2 x 2 all the way up to 64 x 64.  Some units have the capability to be cascaded to get more inputs and outputs. These matrix units are an ideal solution where you need to display multiple video inputs to multiple video outputs or the same input to multiple video outputs. The various models support push buttons control on the front of the unit, infrared remote, RS232 video matrix control software or TCP /IP control. These switches are equipped with status LED's or an LCD on the front of the unit. CAT5 Video Switchers use Cat5 cable to transmit both video and audio signals up to 1000ft without affecting the high quality video resolution.

This Video switch enables distribution of signals from a range of input sources to various output devices, resulting in a matrix pattern of connections. They allow sharing of multiple monitors, projectors or any video displays with video port without hampering the video quality and providing crisp and clear images at high resolution. Available in several formats such as 2X2, 2X4, 2X8, 2X16, 4X4, 4X8 AND 8X8, 16x16, 32x16, 64x64 each input can be connected independently to a single or all outputs. Requiring no additional hardware or software for operation, these devices are also available in rack mountable versions to be used in places where space is a limitation.

Formed by the combination of a video splitter and switch in one unit, the video matrix switch basically enables you to route video from multiple computers to multiple displays. It is available in several video types such as VGA Matrix , HDMI Matrix , DVI Matrix , component video matrix switch, composite video matrix switch and s-video matrix, all differing in the type of video signals supported by them. However, all of them maintain signal integrity. Some models available also include stereo audio along with video. One of the greatest advantages of this device is the eliminating the need for disconnecting and reconnecting different sources to displays.

Conference rooms, control rooms, command centers, casinos, shopping centers, and hotels, all use video matrix switch units to inter connect multiple systems.
