The 2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS combines an extensive list of standard features, the highest safety standards, refined design, and an unmatched warranty to crush the competition.
Compared to its four-cylinder competition, the 2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS offers more value for your dollar. Hyundai has long been known to provide its vehicles with the latest in passive and active safety technology. The 2010 Sonata GLS earned the U.S National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) top 5 star crash test rating for both front and side impacts. All Sonatas' have offered ESC since May 2005, the NHTSA claims that ESC is the most effective lifesaving technology since the seatbelt. In comparison, ESC has only recently become available on the Toyota Camry, four years behind the Sonata. The Sonata GLS safety features include ESC, a tire pressure monitoring system(TPMS), six airbags, ABS, and active front head restraints.
To help you avoid a collision the Sonata offers you a state of the art braking technology package. This includes four wheel disc breaks, electronic brake force distribution (EBD), and an Anti-Lock Braking System. The EBD automatically adjusts the braking force to front and rear axes based on vehicle loading conditions. The Anti-Lock Braking System includes Brake Assist providing maximum braking force when a panic stop is detected.
In the event a collision is unavoidable, the Sonata features six airbags, including dual front seat-mounted side-impact airbags and front and rear side curtain airbags. Other passive safety features include active front head restraints, 3-point seatbelts, and an occupant classification system.
Not only does the Hyundai Sonata GLS lead the way in standard features and safety technology, it has a far better warranty than any of the competing vehicles. The Sonata is protected by the Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty. This includes five year or 60,000 mile bumper to bumper protection, ten year or 100,000 mile limited powertrain warranty, five year/ unlimited mileage roadside assistance and seven year/ unlimited mileage anti perforation coverage. At no extra charge Sonata buyers receive 24 hour roadside assistance for five years, no mileage limit, which includes emergency towing, lockout service, and limited coverage for trip interruption expenses.

The 2010 Sonata GLS offers several advantages when comparing it to the 2010 Toyota Camry LE 6 speed AT. The first thing one may look at is the price. The Sonata GLS is a hefty two thousand dollars less then the 2010 Toyota Camry both at MSRP and comparably equipped models. Consider then that the Sonata GLS comes with more standard features and considerable more options.
If price isn't one of your main concerns we shall take a look at standard and optional features. For the sake of comparison we'll see how the 2010 Toyota Camry's warranty stakes up. The Sonata offers five year 60,000 mile bumper to bumper protection whereas the Camry offers three year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Sonata's offers an impressive 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty compared to Toyota's 5year 60,000 warranty. Hyundai offers two more years in its seven year corrosion perforation warranty Toyota having a 5 year corrosion perforation warranty.
In conclusion, the 2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS seems to be a step ahead of the 2010 Toyota Camry LE 6speed AT. Not only does the Hyundai Sonata GLS offer more standard and available options, higher safety standards, and a unmatched warranty, it comes 2000 dollars cheaper giving you a much greater value for your dollar.
