The Sony VAIO VPCF136FM is an exceptional laptop for both home and office users. This F-Series laptop from Sony offers the latest in personal computing technology. It has power, speed, a 16.4" HD wide-screen display, Blu-ray media burning system, two USB 3.0 ports, Blue tooth and Wi-Fi wireless technologies, built-in MOTION EYE camera and microphone, a back-lit keyboard and a built-in 10 key numeric pad. This laptop could be the replacement for your desktop PC. The Sony F-Series machine does just about everything yet it is incredibly easy to use. Perfect for playing the latest games with amazing graphics and blazing fast speed, it also offers the office user exceptional processing capabilities for heavy workloads, incredible program performance with extremely fast uploading and downloading times to help improve your work flow and achieve maximum output.
The Sony VAIO VPCF136FM is powered by the Intel Quad Core i7 740QM processor, 1.73GHz processing speed with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, which responds to your needs with maximum performance and achieves speeds up to 2.93GHz. In addition, it comes standard with a 640GB hard drive and 6GB of DDR3 SDRAM. The standard operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit edition. You will truly be amazed at the speed in which you can surf the Internet, moving effortlessly from web site to web site, even while downloading pictures, music and videos. Standard colors are black and gray but the F-Series may be ordered in almost any color imaginable. Graphic processing and CPU intensive programs are no problem. Despite these capabilities, the Sony VAIO VPCF136FM runs cooler than other laptops I have had and eliminated my need for lap pads.
With all the performance features included, this laptop weighs in at 6.9lbs. A true desktop replacement with the portability you want.. The Sony VAIO F Series gives you a powerful Intel Core i7 processor with 6GB DDR3 SDRAM at a reasonable price. The 3D graphics are powered by the Nvidia 425M GPU with 1GB dedicated video memory available and will let you play your favorite games and watch the latest 3D movies with ease. You can expand your storage capabilities by attaching an external SATA hard drive through the eSATA port and the card reader slot can read any digital media card available today. This is a mid-range priced computer with many premium features.
Some of the laptops available in this price range have a metallic body but the F-Series from Sony utilizes an attractive high quality plastic body. The battery will last for approximately 2.5 hours on a single charge. If you run multiple multimedia applications and connect to the Internet using a Wi-Fi connection, the battery life may be a little less. An extended life battery is optional at additional cost. The speakers lack a deep bass and can give a tinny sound. External speakers will improve the sound quality tremendously.
The Sony VAIO VPCF136FM laptop is a great value for your money. Powerful enough to be a true replacement for your desktop, yet light enough to actually carry with you. This machine will allow you to utilize a wide array of software without affecting performance. It also allows you to enjoy a great gaming experience.
