A Teacher Can But Lead You to the Door - Learning is Up to You
This Chinese proverb is so apt when it comes to the study of homeopathy. I love the study and discipline of homeopathy so much that I can’t imagine not wanting to learn it. Yet, sometimes I must temper myself as I perceive that others don’t always share my passion. But since you’re reading this, allow me to indulge myself and expound on the reasons I have made learning homeopathy my way of life.
Reason 1: There is no end to what can be learned in the science of homeopathy. In the beginning, the principles are compelling because of their cutting edge logic. I t feels as if you’ve come home with every precise word offered by Dr. Hahnemann. It is scientific, reasoned and so very elegant in its exactitude.
Reason 2: The brilliance of the finest medical minds has contributed to the volumes of homeopathic literature. So, you get to pick who you’re most fond of for the next few months. Is it the bold Dr. James Kent? Or maybe it’s the brilliance of award winning George Vithoulkas. Then again, reading Dr.Ortega for the fourth time is always enlightening. There isn’t an author one can’t learn something from or be left without a sense of awe.
Reason 3: Oh, and how could I place this number three?! The primary reason for loving the study of this compendium of literature is that it gives one more material with which to make the best possible remedy choices. It’s never contradictory; just sound and useful.
Reason 4: Being a rather social conservative, I find the principles of homeopathy to fit my beliefs. This doesn’t mean they won’t work for someone who is more liberal, it just means that after digging for years, I find nothing objectionable about the practice of homeopathy. I’ve always been enamored by the works of Mother Teresa and when I learned that she was a proponent of homeopathy, I was thrilled. So, you can imagine my delight when I learned that there have been several popes who have embraced homeopathy, as well.
Reason 5: As a homeopathic consultant for over 13 years, I’ve seen consistent results. From newborns to the aged, from farm animals to wild life, homeopathy never fails to relieve when the remedy is well chosen. There is nothing like seeing suffering aborted and a life restored to normalcy.
Reason 6: You’re never done. I’m keen on knowing there’s always more to learn. This doesn’t mean that it is not possible to see stunning results long before completely mastering this discipline. It means one’s success rates will soar with each new level of comprehension.
The study of homeopathy is for those who find it gripping to help others in a way that is safe and never causes harm. It is for those who value learning and a life well spent. Perhaps if I can inspire even one other to take to the study of homeopathy in a way that stirs his inner core like it has mine, I will feel I have completed an important life-task.

Learning About Friendship $19.95 Making friends can be a challenge for all children, but those with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) can struggle more than most. This collection of ten fully-illustrated stories explores friendship issues encountered by children with ASD aged four to eight and looks at how they can be overcome successfully. Key problem areas are addressed, including sharing, taking turns, being a tattletale, obsessions, winning and losing, jealousy, personal space, tact and diplomacy, and defining friendship. Each story has a separate introduction for adults which explains the main strategies within it.
