Brown, particularly the the lighter end can be very calming. Beige is also a preferred colour in designing for the world wide web as it gives an earthy and relaxed feel. it could also mean tradition, poverty and mother earth.
Grey can be linked to refinement, innovation and the future. The paler side is similar to white because it's a excellent colour to use on the background of a website to form a sense of space and modernism.
Finally, when picking colours for web-site design, you should give thought to the way it could affect users.
