Cornering Light: for Elegance and Better Visibility
Honda made its way to the U.S. automotive market in the late 1970s with its affordable models Honda Civic and Honda Accord. In its initial attempt to build a new and unique car adhering to Honda’s standard smart design and dependability, the Japanese automaker launched the Honda Prelude in 1979. The two-door sports car became one of the primary performance cars in the Honda model series for almost two decades. Although not a muscle car, the Honda Prelude was equipped with the Honda’s most powerful engine during that time. This Honda model was designed to maximize handling and performance with sufficient power to remain on top. Different new Honda technologies were incorporated on the Prelude during its lifespan like the four wheel steering system, fuel injection, Active Torque Transfer System, and Honda’s first variable valve technology called the VTEC. The model was also mounted with different safety features and auto parts to make it street legal like the Honda Prelude cornering lights.
A lot of options are available for the Honda Prelude to make it more elegant. Even the smallest accessories like the Honda Prelude cornering light can accentuate the car, making it more personalized and unique. The cornering light is placed beside the headlights at the front area of the car. To comply with the state regulations on the type and design of cornering lights, cornering lights come with amber light bulbs and amber reflectors. The standard Honda Prelude cornering light is not much different from other cornering lights.
The stock Prelude cornering light can be customized to give it a unique and eye-catching look. Auto parts manufacturers make alterations on the lights’ design in a way that they are still street legal in most places. The Altezza and Euro custom cornering lights as well as clear cornering lights are the common choices for stock cornering light replacements.
Other than aesthetics and legal compliance, the Honda Prelude cornering light helps in illuminating the road especially at night or in driving conditions with limited visibility. Since majority of custom cornering lights have clear lenses including amber light bulbs, the components are still better than the stock cornering light. Other cornering lights even use halogen lamps, making them emit brighter lights than the standard Honda Prelude cornering light.

Honda Civic $144.98 The Honda Civic is a line of compact cars developed and manufactured by Honda. In North America, the Civic is the secondlongest continuouslyrunning nameplate from a Japanese manufacturer; only the Toyota Corolla, introduced in 1968, has been in production longer. The Civic, along with the Accord and Prelude, comprised Hondas vehicles sold in North America until the 1990s, when the model lineup was expanded. Having gone through several generational changes, the Civic has become larger and more upmarket, and it currently slots between the Fit and Accord. It was introduced in July 1972 as a twodoor coupe, followed by a threedoor hatchback that September. With the transverse engine mounting of its 1169 cc engine and frontwheel drive like the British Mini, the car provided good interior space despite overall small dimensions. Early models of the Civic were typically outfitted with a basic AM radio, heater, foamcushioned plastic trim, twospeed wipers and painted steel rims with a chromed wheel nut cap.
