I bought the first electric power supply some things, testing on working conditions, but noted that it is a very robust device that can more than just a check to do the job or horn relay. Currently I drive up to a tank electrolytic rust removal, instead of a battery charger that I hung with. The power unit was shut down in the tank for three days straight, without signs of overheating at all.
I recommend this device. Perhaps the only thing I could use the device, an ammeter in front of the car. I know, the more expensive devices, but I thought it would be a nice addition.
I hope to write up some ideas of my experience with this device.

I initially purchased the power supply to test some electrical stuff that I am working on, but found that it is a very robust unit, able to do more than simply check to see if relays or horns are working. Currently, I have the unit hooked up to a electrolytic rust removal tank in place of a battery charger that I was using. The unit has been putting out power to the tank for three days straight, with no signs of overheating at all.
I would recommend this unit very highly. Perhaps the only thing that I feel the unit could use is an amp meter in the face of the machine. I know the more expensive units have this, but I just thought it would be a nice addition.
Hopefully this review gave you some idea of my experience with this unit.

Home use for car radio
Living in an area where a typical home radio does not work very well.In order to to listen to a favorite radio station after sundown is important to me.The station I listen to is at best marginal . Now that I have my car radio in place , it is well worth the added expense plus the fact that I am now experiencing HD-Radio and it is great.The resting or no load wattage drawn when not listening to the radio is quite minimal approximately 17 watts ( per Kill-A-Watt meter)that is important because that allows you to leave the power supply left on 24/7.
